An evaluation by a Dad’s Club swimming coach is required before a swimmer can be accepted into one of our Swim Team training groups. Following evaluation, swimmers are assigned to training groups based on their age and ability.
To be eligible for the Swim Team, athletes must be at least 6 years old and familiar with freestyle and backstroke.
Here you’ll find a link to our current evaluation schedule. To reserve a spot for your swimmer, please enter your details for the desired time slot. At the scheduled time, please have your swimmer ready at the 50m (large) pool. A coach will meet them there to begin the evaluation.

Swim Team registration is open and ongoing throughout the year, and meets are held on weekends only, with one to two meets per month year-round.

Using the ACTIVE Registration System
How to Apply Your Multi-Child Registration Fee Discount
The team registration fee is $250 per athlete, with a discount for additional athletes within the same family. For the purpose of applying the multi-child discount in the ACTIVE system, the fee is broken into two separate registration fees: $150 per family plus $100 per swimmer. Subsequent swimmers in the family will pay a $100 registration fee.
How to Apply Your Multi-Child coaching Fee Discount
Families receive a multi-child discount of 20% off the coaching fee and a discounted annual registration for every additional athlete. Registration must occur at the same time to apply.
On the top right side of the registration form in the cart screen, click +Add Another Registration. To apply your discount, register your second and subsequent children using the “+Add Another Registration” tab.
a note about swim team registration discounts and fees
Please note that paying by annual method offers a $100 savings per swimmer for the year over the monthly payment plan. However, the annual fees are not refundable, so please be certain of your selection before making the financial commitment.
Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard and automatic bank draft. We do not accept in-person payments. Dad's Club is a non-profit organization, so there is no sales tax on fees paid. However, the club is charged a processing fee for credit card and auto-draft payments. We do pass this along for all transactions. The fee is 2.95%+$1.00.
