Spring Valley SWIM TEAM 2026: REGISTRATION opens march 20 @ 10:00am
Summer League provides a fun, exciting and team-oriented introduction to competitive swimming for children ages 5 and up, where participants compete as members of Dad’s Club’s Spring Valley Swim Team. The program is designed to serve members of the Spring Valley community and is also open to a limited number of non-residents.
Summer League runs between May and June and practices take place four times a week. Participants are grouped according to age and tryouts are not required, however, swimmers must meet the minimum requirements noted below.

Practice length: 45 to 60 minutes
requirements:
- swim 25 yards freestyle unassisted and without holding onto the ropes
- swim 25 yards backstroke unassisted and without holding onto the ropes
equipment:
- fins
- cap
- goggles
- kickboard
- team suit
- equipment bag (optional)
It’s important to purchase fins and equipment that are designed for swim training. Please note:
- Tritan, Sporti, TYR & Finis all make swim fins designed for children (see picture for style) and fins are fitted by shoe size.
- Kickboards come in junior size for children 5-8 and small 9-10 year-olds, and regular size for children 9 and over.

A Note About Eligibility
Residents of Spring Valley have enrollment priority for the Summer League. Families who live outside the City of Spring Valley are welcome to join as Non‑Residents. A $200 facility summer league membership fee will be applied to your account. The SVST Family Membership Rider is good for weekends in May and every day throughout the month of June.
